Toadstools and Coins!

Toadstools and Coins!

This post about the Nintendo DS brought back some happy memories. I have played on this console a few times but the real love of my life was my silver Gameboy SP.

There were some excellent games for it and it was double the fun for me because it was backwards compatible. Whatever games come out, you can never replace the magic of the old Mario and Zelda ones! Mind you, the latest edition of Super Mario Land that has Read the rest of this entry »

Reading and Writing as a Hobby

Reading and Writing as a Hobby

When my son started going to school, I had a few minutes of free time as I waited for his bus. So, I decided I would put this time to good use. Instead of sitting there doing nothing but thinking about the next best moisturiser I can wear on my face, I would immerse myself in a good book.

As I began reading, my mind escaped to completely different worlds. Some of these worlds were no different than our own, Read the rest of this entry »

How I Work at Home with Kids

For over four years I’ve had to handle two jobs: working from home as a writer and working at home as a mom. And, like many other mothers in my position, I had to learn how to manage both of these at the same time.

So, how did I do it? Well, when I first started working from home my son was around six months old and I was selling products from a beauty moisturiser website, and because of my Read the rest of this entry »

We’ve all heard about the fires going on in australia. You’ve probably seen it on the news, read about it in the paper, perhaps you’ve seen clips of it on the internet or youtube. Well my sister knows someone who lives out there, and she forwarded on this email outlining what happened to some friends of hers who live out there. It really does change how you feel about it all, it makes it real. I’ve taken out the name Read the rest of this entry »

Changing Jobs - are headhunters a good thing?

So six months ago I was called by a head hunter who wanted to recruit me across to a different job. I am more than happy with the place I am currently working in, I have freinds, I also have job prospects. I am in no way in a dead end position hoping that one say I will win the lottery and find myself out of here. Far from it. I enjoy the place I currently work with. We are Read the rest of this entry »

Adventure Exhibition - the ultimate religious experience!

The ultimate experience is I think according to me its in India. As in India they include all the adventures and also enjoyable trend there. Once when it is experienced I think it will be the unforgettable fair you have been visited.

Exhibition panels means it does not require that it must have a particular fair, exhibition but just it may be an historical place to visit and through which we gain some knowledge about that. In some cases what happens is the trade will be organized using there materials for advertisement or it will be related to some medical backgrounds.

For instance, there was an exhibition held in Berlin recently. Its main objective was to communicate and make people understand about the pains of humans which they are facing in day to day life. It was like something which we did not know. There was a 19th century’s model which was wrapped with tight white cloth; this model was indicating that many people dig there teeth to avoid biting their tongue. This is done during painful surgeries.

Exhibition includes fun, pleasure, enjoyment, adventure, all the other interesting things included.

I heard some one telling that they had been to Tibet, during there visit it was winter there. They had a chance to explore physically and also mentally because they had a wonderful experience over the location and climate over there.

My big recommendation for shows at the Ed fringe are Lloyd Langford: Not A Lover, Not A Fighter , Edward Aczel: Do I Really Have To Communicate With You? and No Place for Dreams .

On an unrelated note, check out this post on Enigin I happened across the other day - it’s faily interesting.

What the best and most exciting way to see London? Is it on the top of a sight seeing bus, through the thick glass of the London eye? No your wrong. the best (not that I’m baised) is through the sight finder of a digital camera whilst on a London photgraphic treasure hunt.

I did this a couple of weeks back and I really swear that getting together with a couple of good mates and exploring all the nooks and cranies of the backstreet of London in a desperate attempt to discover the best and more creative solution to a clue will make you see London in a completely different light. Don’t bother getting caught up in the muster old history of London Experience something alive and exciting. For a quick taste check out these images of pervious treasure hunts.
